Flash cards are a fun and versatile way of helping students remember CORE knowledge that they need to progress to the next level of understanding the content being taught. They are versatile in the way that random orders of questions can be posed, additional lines of enquiry can be made, for example, rather than just asking for the name of the picture, you can ask the function of it. Additionally you can really mix things up by showing the name and description first and they have to verbally describe what the objects looks like.
This PDF product includes a cover page, teachers' instructions and 27 coloured flash cards and descriptors. To help you depending on what printing stock you have available, the first set of cards are designed to be used on standard printing paper and can be cut out, with the descriptor side then folded over and secured with a little dab of glue so that the answer is not visible when held up to light. The second set (the same actual content) is for printing on Card stock and can be printed back to back and images and descriptions line up. (I suggest you do a test print first and adjust any printer settings for your particular type of printer). Additionally, there are now full-size image version to project on a screen for your students. All come with answers on the cards, or a blank line version for your students to fill in.
